Grief Part 1: Blog Post 7

My grandpa passed away this past week. Unfortunately, I was not in a suitable headspace to speak at his funeral. After his funeral, I felt like there were things I still wanted to say, so I just wrote a little something. Here it is.  My grandpa was the most brilliant man. He taught me so much throughout his life. The most important lesson being kindness. He always wanted to help others. Whether it be with a family or a stranger, my grandfather was patient and compassionate. He never wanted the attention on him, which really made him the ying to my yang (i.e. picture below). I've told myself a lot this past week that if only I had one more time with him, things would be better. But I realize that one more time would never be enough, and I would always be asking for more. So I'll save all my "one more times" for when I see you again grandpa. Until then I'll try to be a little more like you everyday .

Some Decorating: Blog Post 6

Something creative I did today was play around with the decor in my apartment. I rearranged the books below A LOT of times, and this is what I ended up with.

Blog Post 5: Creative Limitations

I was a competitive dancer growing up, and I often felt creatively limited by my lack of strength. I was born naturally very flexible, but I was so flexible that it made it difficult for me to gain muscle. That limited me in how I could move and frustrated me thouroughly. With that being said, it pushed me to learn how to move in different ways that were different from others. I honestly think it helped me become a better dancer.

I used AI in my architecture class to create a sacred space for multiple religions. I really loved how this one came out.

Sunday Project: Blog Post 2

For each of my friends' birthdays this year, I am making them a coffee table book. The book holds all the photos I have taken of them on my cameras. This is the cover for my friend Anna's book.
