24: Halloween!

Image
I dressed as my dad today for class. My dad owns a contracting business and wears this outfit or some variation every day. The company sweatshirts are my favorite; I swear they are the comfiest sweatshirts.

23: Let's Talk About Gas

Image
Because I am from New Jersey, I just learned how to pump gas this year. I am still not used to it. Here is a moment my friend captured today.

22: Grief Part 3

Grief Part 3  These are just some photos of my grandfather and me.  I miss him every day

21: Google "Chloe Brannagan"

Image
I google my name today to see what would come up. I found these Getty Images from 2005 of my grandma, my mom, and me. The internet being everlasting can be a good thing.

20: From The Notes App

Image
From the Notes App I like to go back and look at what I have in my notes app for a good laugh and sometimes some inspiration.

19: Poem About Graduating

One more semester and here I wonder  what will guide my way if not a syllabus

18: Homecoming Video

I make all the videos for my sorority, Tri Delta. This is my second year editing our homecoming video. The homecoming video is, without a doubt, my LEAST favorite video to edit. I dislike making this video for a few reasons, but mainly because I am executing ideas that are not my own. Typically, the videos I make for Tri Delt have complete control, but for homecoming, I have no part in the concept, filming, or overall vision. With that being said, here is the video. (I also had roughly an hour to do this).  Tri Delt x Phi Delt Homecoming

17: Hit Song Writing

I saw this tiktok today about the making of Rihanna's first #1 hit song, SOS. The writer, Jack Bogart, explains how he used 80s song titles to create the song's second verse. This reminded me of our class discussions, specifically how anything can be a creative technique. This is one of my favorite songs, and knowing this secret makes it 10 times better.  The Lyrics:  Take on me (uh-huh), you know inside you feel it right Take me on, I could just die up in your arms tonight I melt with you, you got me head over heels (over heels) Boy, you keep me hanging on, the way you make me feel The TikTok Link: https://www.tiktok.com/@danielswall/video/7426227251647171882?_t=8qd9LIoh2eU&_r=1

16: Present or Future

An old poem I found  (wow I must have been going through it)   Perhaps the present is what I fear most   the moment right here   And this one now. i’m trying to escape this second   and the one here now. so maybe it’s not the future i fear   i actually wait for it because i want so desperately   to escape the person i am   right here and here now.

15: Grief Pt 2

Image
My grandfather recently passed away. This is the first time I have lost someone close to me, so it is my first time experiencing real grief. Being at school and away from my family has been really tough. However, I have been better at keeping in touch with them, and I call my grandma every week to check up on her.  Grandpa was an avid runner. He was still running half marathons at 80. My grandma is still running. I walk past this bible verse at my gym every day and never think much of it. But today, it struck me and made me think of my grandpa. My Grandpa had a very close relationship with God, and so does my grandmother. Seeing how my grandmother's faith has helped her through losing her husband has really inspired me to consider figuring out my own relationship with God.  So I took a picture and sent it to my grandma.

13: Nobody Wants This

THE ROM COM IS BACK  The new TV show on Netflix, Nobody Wants This, has brought back the Romantic Comedy. The series, starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, is undeniably hilarious. I binged the whole show in 1 1/2 days. I cannot recommend this show enough! Go watch it now!

12: Bedding and Lighting

Image
Today, I tried out a new bedding combo that incorporates blues. I was going to talk about that in this post, but I am more interested in the photo I took of my bed. I love how the light from my window lies across the blue pillow. The contrast between the two is perfect. I also think I nailed the low exposure in this photo.

11: Going Outside My Comfort Zone

Image
I HATE CONDIMENTS. I especially hate people who put any sort of condiments on their eggs. However, my roommate convinced me to try siracha on my eggs. I loved it. I still despise people who put ketchup on their eggs.
